Internship Program Stipends: Diversifying the Museum Field

The Internship Program offers a limited number of stipends to increase the participation of students from communities of color and American Indian nations who are underrepresented in the Society, and in the museum field. Stipend awards are available for interns each semester, to support an unpaid internship. Undergraduate and graduate students fitting this description are encouraged to apply.

To apply for a stipend please refer to the stipend application. Stipend applications are due along with the application and before the application deadline for each semester. Stipend applications also require two (2) letters of recommendation from professional or academic resources to accompany them.

Due to the limited number of stipends, not all qualified candidates are eligible to receive a stipend. Stipends applications are due along with the application, and successful candidates will receive notification of their funding status prior to accepting the internship offer.

If you have any questions about the internship program, please contact internships@mnhs.org or 651-259-3191.
