The Minnesota Historical Society (MHS) seeks applicants for a Project Manager, Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to plan, organize, direct and implement CRM processes and technology across programs of the Minnesota Historical Society. This is a full-time, regular position (2,088 annual hours) located at the History Center, St. Paul, MN.
Summary of Work: Responsibilities include: 1) provides strategic direction for CRM; 2) manages the implementation and future expansion of CRM using technology to organize, automate and synchronize business processes; 3) develops and maintains workflows that translate functional needs into technical systems; 4) ensures CRM end users are leveraging the solutions and achieving success and 5) uses information derived from CRM processes with Society staff to drive increase in contributed income and earned income, enhancing and improving MHS efficiency.
B.A. in business, communications, or marketing, plus six years program experience or equivalent OR an advanced degree plus five years program experience or equivalent.
Knowledge and strong understanding of business practices, coupled with a demonstrated knowledge of functions and capabilities of CRM related software applications such as fundraising/membership, ticketing, group scheduling, retail/eCommerce and eCommunication.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate research from a variety of resources.
Strong understanding of projects and demonstrated ability to deliver on-time, on-budget, on-scope, managing multiple projects.
Experience in successfully working across many departments and groups to implement complex projects that are aligned with the strategic plan.
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and work under pressure while championing scope and ongoing development of CRM.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Google docs and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or comparable.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
Demonstrated ability to train and coach others.
Five years project management experience.
Demonstrated ability to align CRM within an organization’s strategic plan.
Experience in budget preparation, analysis, and monitoring.
Demonstrated commitment to the public service mission of the Society.
Strong problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to effect change.
Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict and promote a sense of unity.
Awareness of social media, its impact and uses.
Willingness to stay abreast of industry trends and technology advances.
Demonstrated ability to adapt trends and technology outside of industry to meet needs.
Strong desire to continually learn and challenge one-self.
Experience with build versus buy decisions.
Salary: $3,860.00 monthly minimum
