Transcript of Interview Excerpt
Manuel Villafaña, interviewed by David Rhees, on May 20, 1998 in Plymouth, Minnesota.
“Well, we have a team. I mean, we do have a team. For example, in this organization here, my officers have all worked with me for fifteen, twenty, twenty-five years. People on the production line have worked for me for many years. My secretary, an accountant person that just left me, was with me for twenty years. We have people who just, when we’re ready to do a project, we put them together. “Are you ready? Let’s go and do another one.” And if I wanted to do another project, it would just be a matter of phone calls. “Hey Charlie, come on, let’s go and do something.” You know, and it’s fun. We all make a decent living doing these things, and they’re fun things, and you go home at night and you’re proud of what you’ve accomplished.”
