Learn tips and tricks about preserving your family's letters and stories in a workshop. MNHS Press author Nancy O’Brien Wagner will share what she learned working on her book, "Alice in France: The World War I Letters of Alice M. O'Brien." Some topics covered will include transcribing letters, adding context with historical research, editing and preservation of the letters, as well as time for participants to network and talk about their family projects.
Wagner will be joined by MNHS reference and collections staff, who will share their expertise and the resources available at the Gale Family Library. An optional tour of the Gale Family Library will be available to workshop participants.
An archival folder is included in the price of the workshop.
This workshop is made possible through the support of the Fred C. and Katherine B. Andersen Foundation.
