This class is targeted to DNA beginners: those who are thinking about testing DNA of or have recently done testing and want to understand the results. Learn the basic differences between X,Y, autosomal, and mitochondrial DNA, who to test, and about the different kinds of DNA test. This class will also cover the match lists and data DNA companies provide.

Instructor bio: J. H. Fonkert is a board-certified genealogist, lecturer, researcher and has his own research service, Four Generations Genealogy. He has been an instructor at the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, and his research and articles have appeared in numerous publications.
