Enjoy performances from Ragamala Dance Company students of all ages and levels, who receive classical training by Artistic Directors Ranee and Aparna Ramaswamy, as well as senior Ragamala company members.

Ranee and Aparna are dedicated to teaching the aesthetic of Bharatanatyam created by their teacher, the internationally renowned Padma Bhushan Alarmel Valli, widely considered to be one of India's greatest living masters. In addition to rigorous dance training, Ragamala students learn about the multidimensionality of the Indian arts and their ongoing relevance in our contemporary society.

During Asian Pacific Heritage Month, the Minnesota History Center is partnering with Ragamala Dance Company on several programs to celebrate the company's 25th anniversary season.
