This photography exhibit, exploring the theme "Forward," showcases the work of young Native American artists who participated in a 12-week high school internship program. The teens worked with artist mentors to learn the process of digital photography and investigate historical and contemporary Native representation in a guided, supportive, and culturally sensitive environment.
This exhibit is a partnership between the Minnesota Historical Society, Two Rivers Gallery, and the Hennepin County Library. It will be on display Sept. 12-Oct. 27, 2018.
This program is made possible by the Legacy Amendment's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund through the vote of Minnesotans on Nov. 4, 2008.
