Part documentary, part meta-memoir, and part actual memoir, this Irvine Gallery exhibit from renowned photographer Wing Young Huie explores the cultural riddle of his identity as a Minnesotan of Chinese descent. It is a companion exhibit to the new MNHS Press book, Chinese-ness: The Meanings of Identity and the Nature of Belonging by Wing Young Huie.

This exhibit will be on display in the Irvine Gallery, a new community space with free admission, Sept. 11-Nov. 11, 2018.
