Group Visits

  • Adult Group rates are available for groups of 15 people or more.
  • Packages include admission to all regular exhibits at the Minnesota History Center
  • Free admission for group leader and motor coach operator

Group +Plus Package

A member of our Welcome Staff will greet your group, offer a brief, entertaining overview of our landmark building, and escort your group to the MN150 exhibit where they will highlight not-to-be-missed objects from Minnesota’s fascinating past.

  • $10.00 per person
  • Must be scheduled at least 4 weeks in advance to receive group rate

Group Standard Package

History Center staff will greet your group with their museum access buttons and maps, ensuring you hassle-free admission with no waiting.

  • $8.00 per person
  • Must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance to receive group rate

Policies and information

  • Additions or group cancellations must be made at least two weeks before scheduled visit
  • Non-refundable payment in full is due two weeks prior to visit
  • No handling fee for groups
  • Member discount, Museum Adventure Passes and other discounts do not apply to group tour reservations

Directions

From the West: Take I-94 east and exit at Kellogg Blvd/Marion St. The History Center will be straight ahead of you. Follow the signs for Kellogg. Drive through John Ireland Blvd. Turn left using the next available left turn lane, and into the History Center entrance drive.

From the East: Take I-94 west. Exit at Marion St. and turn left on Marion, crossing over I-94. Take a left turn at Kellogg Blvd. Drive through John Ireland Blvd. Turn left using the next available left turn lane, and into the History Center entrance drive.

From the North: Take I-35E south to St. Paul, and follow signs to I-94 west. Stay in the right lane on I-94 west and exit at Marion St. Turn left onto Marion, crossing over I-94. Drive through John Ireland Blvd. Turn left using the next available left turn lane.

From the South: Take I-35E north and exit at Kellogg Blvd. Turn left onto Kellogg. Half way up the hill, turn right into the History Center entrance drive.
