IN-DEPTH RESEARCH REQUEST
Payment
Prepayment is required and non-refundable. The fee for each in-depth research request is as follows:
- Minnesota resident: $12.00 per half hour
- Non-Minnesota resident: $15.00 per half hour
- Minnesota Historical Society members receive a 10% discount.

Delivery
- Requesters will receive a written summary of work done. The fees are charged for the staff time involved in doing the research, whether or not an answer is found.
- Turn-around time is up to 15 business days, dating from the receipt of payment.
- The response will be sent via e-mail or personal letter with unofficial and uncertified copies, if applicable.
- Up to five standard-sized photocopies from paper and/or microform are included in the fee. If additional or oversized copies are needed, they will be invoiced separately.
