All black and white prints are produced on resin-coated (RC) paper with a luster (E) surface. Matte (M) and Glossy (G) surface are available by request.

*Toning is a silver stabilization that extends the life of a resin-coated (RC) print that is intended for display without laminating or framing; toned prints have a warmer-than-normal tone.

CD-Rs

All files are created using a flatbed scanner. Oversized and bound items will be scanned from file copies. CD-Rs are written in ISO 9660 format. JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) file compression used to enable fast loading of images for web display. TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) file created from the raw scan. Used for high quality output in publishing or image manipulation.

Small independent publishers and producers may request to negotiate the fee by submitting a Request for Quote of Use Fee (PDF) form.
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposed in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
