In-House Reference Assistance
Knowledgeable reference staff are on duty to assist researchers during all of the Library's open hours. The Family History Help Desk offers special assistance to family history researchers.

Research Services
To help researchers, the staff answer questions through e-mail and standard mail delivery. Responses are sent by e-mail or letter. Charges apply.

One-on-One Consultations
Researchers with complex research topics can make half-hour appointments for individualized assistance from a reference staff member with specialized expertise in a particular subject area. Call (651) 259-3300 to schedule an appointment.

Telephone Reference Service
The staff can provide limited reference service over the telephone. Call (651) 259-3300 during the Library's open hours.

Inter-Library Loan
Library materials are available for Inter-library Loan, inlcuding most of the Society's microfilm holdings.

Freelance Researchers
For inquiries that require extensive work the Library can refer inquirers to a list of freelance researchers who are familiar with our collections. Ask a staff member or call (651) 259-3300 to obtain a copy of the list.
