Originally owned by Edward Jerabek and known as the Jerabek Bakery, the business apparently became the Cherokee Heights Bakery in 1924 under the ownership of Joseph Kriz. In 1955 the name changed to the Cherokee Pastry Shoppe. The bakery closed in 1962.
