SCOPE AND CONTENTS

The collection includes minutes of the executive board, advisory council, annual conventions, and midwinter meetings; annual reports; programs, delegate register, and other items from federation conventions; newsletters, directories, yearbooks, and other federation publications; scrapbooks concerning state and district events involving federation members; and assorted miscellany.

Among the files are memorial sketches of various members; numerous histories of the federation and of constituent districts and clubs; minutes and clippings about the Pioneer Workers of the Minnesota Federation of Women's Clubs (1912-1924); and miscellany pertaining to the celebration of Susan B. Anthony Day (1940-1947).

Some records of district federations and constituent clubs are also included, particularly those of the Sixth and Tenth districts, Murray County, Chisago County, Hennepin County, the Iota Study Club of Minneapolis, Minnesota Valley Women's Clubs of Richfield, and the Women's Civic League of Taylors Falls. Additional materials include published items from the General Federation of Women's Clubs, the Iowa Federation of Women's Clubs, and the Nebraska Federation of Women's Clubs.
