                        by Great Northern during the first decade of its existence. The files

                        File nos. 1533-1679 are missing, as are quite a few others. The files typically
                        contain application forms and letters, internal memoranda about the employee
                        or prospect, performance data, and service records. </p>
                    <p> There are no individual personnel records for Great Northern Railway greater
                        than personnel file number 1927. They were destroyed by the railroad. </p>
