			<head altrender="biography" id="a2">BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE</head>
			<p>Louise Gillette Piper was born January 21, 1892 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the
				daughter of Lewis Singer Gillette (1854-1924) and Louisa E. Perkins Gillette. On
				June 30, 1913, she married Harry Cushing Piper in Minneapolis. She died December 12,
				1980 in Minneapolis. She had three children: Catherine, Harry, Jr., and Louise.</p>
