         <head id="a3">SCOPE AND CONTENTS</head>
         <p>Administrative records include organizational and membership data; correspondence,
            minutes, and other papers of the board of trustees; reports and correspondence
            concerning annual membership meetings; financial records; fund-raising materials
            (1948-1955); planning commission correspondence and minutes (1953-1956); records of
            several building committees (1881-1927, 1956-1959); and annual reports of the church and
            the minister (1930-1969).</p>
         <p>There are records of the Church School; several women's and social clubs and guilds;
            music and choir committees; Ministers Guild; social action committee (1950s, 1964-1966);
            library committee; and religious education committee. Also included are programs for
            worship services and church events; bulletins and newsletters; clippings; correspondence
            containing information on the Minnesota Unitarian Conference and the American Unitarian
            Association; and letters and articles by several of the ministers. Arthur Foote's papers
            consist of correspondence with parishioners, other individuals, and
            Unitarian-Universalist organizations; and files concerning Foote's service on the
            Governor's Advisory Council on Mental Health (1948-1953).</p>
