The Woman's Auxiliary to the Hennepin County Medical Society was organized October 10, 1910, to promote social welfare programs and to raise funds to enhance the programs of the Hennepin County Medical Society. On October 12, 1976, the name was changed to the Hennepin County Medical Society Auxiliary. In May 2008, it became the West Metro Medical Society Alliance. The organization dissolved October 31, 2010.
