Recognizance of Jean Brunet, Joseph Roulette, and Olivier Cherrier to keep a tavern in Prairie du Chien, May 1825. Prairie du Chien, Crawford County, Michigan Territory, Petition of J. D. Doty to impanel grand and petit jurors, August 20, 1828. Petition of Jean Brunet and Joseph Brisbois for license to operate a ferry on the Wisconsin River, May 13, 1829. Warrant for the arrest of J. Bte Bonnin to answer to J. J. Astor, Robert Stuart and Jos. Rolette, trading under the firm of American Fur Company, signed by Justice of the Peace Brisbois, June 22, 1832.  Petition presented to the President of the United States by J. H. Lockwood, Thomas P. Street, and H. L. Dousman, supervisors of Crawford County, Michigan Territory, March 22, 1835.

This petition calls upon the president to cause the Indian reservation at Prairie du Chien to be established so as to include all land situated between the Kickapoo, the Wisconsin, and the Mississippi rivers as far north as Coule des Males and the east line drawn from the head of that stream to the Kickapoo, and that the country might be surveyed and offered for sale.
