Naturalization Records Index, 1891-1952.
The declarations of intention (first papers), and the final papers and petition and record (second papers) are indexed separately. Names in each section are grouped alphabetically by the first letter of the applicant's surname, and within each group are listed by naturalization volume, in the order in which the naturalization entries were recorded.
Personal name index to declarations of intention (first papers), volumes B-C and 1-6, 1891-1952; final papers, volumes A-C and B-C (minors), 1893-1906; and petition and record (final papers), volumes 1-10, 1907-1946. Each entry gives the applicant's name, and the volume and the page containing the naturalization document. Early entries include Cook County.
