Microfilm copy of a personal name card index to final papers, vols. A-F, 1867-1906; and to petition and record (final papers), vols. 1 [cited as vol. G on the index cards] to 5 (part), 1907-ca. 1938.

The index gives volume and page number for each entry. The cards also include the date of naturalization, which serves as a supplemental finding aid.

The cards were not checked for completeness or correct alphabetical order prior to microfilming. Researchers who do not find a card for a particular individual in its proper place should search the index further and/or consult the naturalization records, many of which contain indexes.
