Microfilm copy of a personal name card index to final papers (Volumes 1-6, 1855-1906) and to petition and record (Volumes 1-2 [cited as 7-8 on the index cards] and 3-4, 1907-1939).

The final papers are indexed by volume and page numbers. The petition and record are indexed as follows: Volume 1[7] is indexed by volume number and page number; Volumes 2[8] and 3 are indexed by volume, page, and petition numbers; and Volume 4 is indexed by volume number and petition number. The cards also include the date of naturalization, which serves as a supplemental indexing aid.
