Personal name indexes to the Rock County declarations of intention (first papers), 1871-1952; final papers, 1877-1906; and petition and record, 1907-1954.

Each entry gives the applicant's name and the volume and page containing the person's declaration and/or second papers, or the petition number. Entries for the petition and record may also include the date of naturalization, which serves as a supplemental indexing aid.

The card indexes were not checked for completeness or correct alphabetical order prior to microfilming. Researchers who do not find the card for a particular individual in its proper sequence should search the index further and/or consult the naturalization records, most of which have indexes.
