         <abstract label="Abstract:">Alphabetical set of legal files (ca. 1976-1993) concerning
            alleged violations of the state's ethical practices law. Containing correspondence,
            memoranda, legal documents, and related papers, the majority document cases involving
            fair campaign practice regulations. Apparently most of the cases went to court. Also, a
            set of advisory opinions (1974-2007) issued by the board on the requirements of the
            Ethics in Government Act [Minn. Stat. c10A] and the Hennepin County Disclosure Law
            [Minn. Stat. 383B.041-383B.058]. Along with a partial index (1974-1993), each folder
            also includes a detailed listing of the subject of each opinion.</abstract>
