 DETAILED DESCRIPTION 123.E.2.2F Correspondence with school district clerks, 1945, 1955-1963.

Mainly form letters between the county superintendent and school district clerks concerning daily operations of the schools, accounting practices, and new legislation. Includes a 1957-1958 issue of the Beltrami County Education Directory: School Board Officers, Superintendents, Principals, and Teachers, issued by county superintendent C. L. Stapleton.

 Correspondence regarding Red Lake School, 1921-1934, 1949, and 1952.

Between the county superintendent of schools and other state and local officials relating to the establishment and operation of a school on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. The records include a 1922 census of white and Indian children living on the reservation, correspondence with the Minnesota attorney general relating to Indian school laws, and a copy of a 1925 agreement between the superintendent of the Red Lake Indian Agency and the Beltrami County Board of Education.
