						Law 550, 82nd Congress); financial statement of applicant; authorization of
						education and training allowance form; war veterans fund card, which shows
						dates assistance was recommended and approved and disbursement dates;
						correspondence; and case number. Files include biographical, educational, and
						financial background of the veteran. </p>

						closed, normally due to exhausted funds. In addition to the Korean War
						Educational Rehabilitation cases (K case numbers); cases falling under the
						Education Rehabilitation Act, Chapter 222, are included. There are seven
						cards at the send of the series that contain statistics on the number of veteran applications denied
						by month and year to date totals from July 1961 to December 1965. </p>
