file number, name, state from or on, crime, date received, date issued or denied,
remarks. The file numbers found in the registers act as an index to the extradition

The extradition requisitions and applications files contain the actual requests,
mainly by Minnesota to other states for return of fugitives, including requests by
county attorneys to the governor and copies of municipal and county court papers.
Later files contain copies of executive orders to other states requesting
extradition. There are also some requests and applications by other states to
Minnesota for return of fugitives, along with executive orders and accompanying
legal papers. Current files of this nature are no longer being retained.
