		<abstract label="Abstract:">Untitled record book giving data (mostly
		  1866-1867) on the sale of Minnesota real estate owned by the Pierre Chouteau,
		  Jr. and Company fur trading firm of St. Louis, Mo. Most of this land was
		  concentrated in St. Paul, Hastings, Sauk Rapids, and in the Mendota area. The
		  book includes descriptions of the parcels, names of purchasers, valuations,
		  purchase prices, cash paid, and amounts financed; rents and repairs to
		  property; lists of unsold property; and a listing of receipts and expenses
		  (1866-1875). There is some financial information (1867) pertaining to the
		  "Rotary Mill," a St. Paul sawmill connected with the Chouteau
		  interests.</abstract>

		<p>Untitled record book giving data (mostly 1866-1867) on the sale of
		  Minnesota real estate owned by the Pierre Chouteau, Jr. and Company fur trading
		  firm of St. Louis, Mo. Most of this land was concentrated in St. Paul,

		<p>The book was apparently kept by John S. Prince, who came to St. Paul
		  in 1854 as an agent for the company with responsibility for its lands.</p>
