MEDIA ALERT/PHOTO OPP: Metro History Day Competitions Start Saturday
WHAT: Metro National History Day in Minnesota competitions get underway this Saturday in St. Paul. Members of the media are encouraged to attend these events, which feature excited students engaging with judges in hopes of moving on to the state competition on May 4, 2013. This is the student's chance to show off their project after months of frenzied research.
WHEN: Six dates in March, 2013.
WHERE: Various metro area high schools and middle schools.
Reporters attending events should check in with History Day staff, who will be present at building entrances, wearing turquoise bowling shirts.
