artifacts on display from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Join in fun fan-friendly activities, including
Rookie Rally Day on February 11 where kids can put their face on a Wheaties box, and Pop Ball!: Baseball's Greatest Partnership on February 24.
COME VISIT MILL CITY MUSEUM

A unique concoction of raw power, dramatic views and hands-on fun propels you through Mill City Museum. Rediscover the
spirited riverfront - the very birthplace of Minneapolis - and experience the fiery past and dynamic present of this
architecturally stunning National Historic Landmark. To commemorate the Museum's "explosive" past, special events are
planned from February 15 through March 31.
GREETINGS! A POSTCARD EXHIBIT
Take in the new exhibit "Greetings! A Pictorial History of Minnesota Through the Postcard" on display at the James J. Hill House through August. View more of the Society's postcard collection by searching the Photo and Art Database.
DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY
At a British trading post, like the North West Company
Fur Post in Pine City, it would have been common to celebrate events of the monarchy. Queen Charlotte's Birthday Ball became a tradition among British elite after King George III first threw the ball in honor of
his wife's birthday in the 1780s. You can attend a re-creation of this special dance on Saturday, February 17.
PARTING SHOT
This LEGO model of Central Baptist Church, the first African American church in Fergus
Falls, was built as a family history project by members of All About Family, a group devoted
to supporting and developing families in the Twin Cities.
The model is now on display in the education wing at the History Center. Learn more about the Society's family
history programs.
