mn150 OPENS OCT. 13

Visit the MN150 exhibit at the Minnesota History Center and experience the people, places and things that helped shape our great state. Like one of our most influential leaders - Hubert H. Humphrey and everyone's favorite - Paul Bunyan.

While you're here, take the interactive quiz and see just how gosh darn Minnesota-smart you are. It's a smorgasbord of iconic proportions!

Be among the first to see our newest exhibit at the Opening Celebration, Oct. 11, 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Meet the nominators and nominees who inspired this exhibit, get your photo taken in a giant postcard, sing happy birthday to Minnesota and eat cake, and listen to music by the Hall Brothers New Orleans Jazz Band featuring Butch Thompson. Minnesota 150 author Kate Roberts will sign books and Tim Russell of "Prairie Home Companion" will emcee and introduce other surprise guests.

MN150 launches the 2008 celebration of 150 years of Minnesota statehood.
