PARTING SHOT

What's going on at Split Rock Lighthouse?
This spring, the famous lighthouse on the North Shore of Lake Superior was enclosed in a shell of scaffolding, plastic and netting while the 98-year-old structure underwent cosmetic work and restoration. When the lighthouse re-opens to the public on May 15 it will have a "Sesqui-luminous" new look.
