Richfield Historical Society Annual Meeting

The Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy at Indiana University conducted a "Nonprofit Overhead Cost Project" in 2004. The result was a report on the quality of financial reporting by nonprofits. Read the PDF report.

Minnesota Historical Society spring 2007 workshops
Attend one of the Minnesota Historical Society’s local history workshops in 2007. The theme: "Raising the Bar: Pursuing Excellence in All You Do." You'll come away with great ideas for fundraising, collecting business records, caring for archaeological collections and more. Dates and locations are: March 23 in Becker, Sherburne County; April 13 in Worthington, Nobles County; April 27 in St. Peter, Nicollet County; May 11 in Chisholm, St. Louis County; May 21 in Roseau, Roseau County. How to Avoid Brain Drain
One of the most common problems nonprofit boards and executive directors face is learning how to manage their organizations more efficiently when threatened with the loss of institutional memory.
