Indiana Historical Society seeks candidates for the part-time position of coordinator, LHS operations. Primary responsibilities are assisting the director and assistant director, LHS, especially with database-related tasks, administration of the County Historian Program and administrative support for workshops and training sessions. Moose Lake Area Historical Society will host five regional authors at a book signing event on Saturday December 1, 2007, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Blacklock and Moose Horn Framing Galleries in Moose Lake.
Lefse Festival Cook-off
Beltrami County Historical Society hosts its 3rd annual "Lefse Festival Cook-off" Tuesday December 4, 2007 at the Hampton Inn, Bemidji from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. General admission of $5 includes music, refreshments, lefse for sale/sample, vendors and great door prizes. "High Tea" in Bemidji
Beltrami County Historical Society hosts "High Tea" Saturday December 8, 2007 at the depot museum, from 2-4 p.m. A variety of teas will be served along with savories (sandwiches), scones and sweets. Participants are encouraged to wear vintage hats/clothing. The cost of $10 for adults and $5 for children includes refreshments, free museum admission and vintage style photographic keepsake. Christmas open house in Farwell

2008 HECUA Partners Internship Program Deadline Approaching
Partners Internship Program (PIP) enables 20 nonprofit organizations in Minnesota, North Dakota and northwestern Wisconsin to hire an undergraduate intern who is paid to work full time for 400 hours or 10 weeks during the summer.
