Wanted: School desks and map
Finland Minnesota Historical Society has a one-room schoolhouse. We would like to purchase or receive via donation a number of school desks that would be similar to those used between 1915 and 1930 when the school functioned. Also, wall maps showing the United States as it was 90 years ago would be nice, too. - Jack Pichotta
New Manager of Outreach Services named at MHS
It gives me great pleasure to announce that David Grabitske is the new Manager of Outreach Services in the Minnesota Historical Society's Historic Preservation Department effective November 16. David takes on this new assignment during exciting times among Minnesota's many local and county historical organization partners.

Touring mill model
Verndale Historical Society educates the public with a new 1/6th scale model of a former grist mill, 1880-1912. Built on a trailer for mobility, the Society takes it to local celebrations. For more information, contact Clarence Horsager.
