The United States Internal Revenue Service released a new 36-page compliance guide for 501(c)(3) organizations.

2007 AMM Salary Survey Report

The Association of Midwest Museums (AMM) released the 2007 Salary Survey Report. Survey reports are available for purchase for $25 for AMM members and $50 for non-members.

Civil War records to be digitized

National Archives and Records Administration and the Genealogical Society of Utah will pilot a project to digitize pension records of Union Army veterans.

World Digital Library

United States Library of Congress recently agreed to partner with other major libraries around the world to contribute content to a World Digital Library.
