Discussions and Questions
Collecting Trophies (2 new messages) From a cost-benefit point of view, trophies may not fit many collections. From a mission point of view, trophies may be a story worth preserving despite the cost in time and space. How do you solve the trophy issue at your organization?
Necessary Museums? (1 new message) For new historical organizations tough choices need to be made about the kinds of services to offer. Does a formal exhibit need to be one of them?

Field Note
Though patrons of historical organizations are often called "visitors," some
suggest the term "user" might be more appropriate. One
measure to capture the number of users is a guestbook, as seen below
at the Sauk Centre Area Historical Society. Would labeling our
patrons "users" help us more accurately count our visitors?
