Necessary Museums? (1 new message) The growth in use of library collections suggests that library and archives are broadly accessible. Is it necessary for a historical organization to have a library also?
Collecting Trophies (New Post) From a cost-benefit point of view, trophies may not fit many collections. From a mission point of view, trophies may be a story worth preserving despite the cost in time and space. How do you solve the trophy issue at your organization?

Field Note
Lineal history is often told in points along the way. Below is a roadside rest and marker noting a stagecoach station in modern Osakis that accomodated people on their way from St. Paul to the Red River Valley. The marker is a good reminder that the history our organizations preserve is connected to other places and stories.
