With passage of the Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment, the Council for Minnesota Archaeology, Minnesota Alliance of Local History Museums, Minnesota Historical Society, and Preservation Alliance of Minnesota will convene an initial conversation with the field. Museum Assessment Program
The deadline for MAP is February 15, 2009. Choose from four different assessments to improve organizational capabilities. Institutions with budgets of $125,000 or less can participate for free.
Johanna Favrot Fund for Historic Preservation
Provides nonprofit organizations and public agencies matching grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 for projects that contribute to the preservation of a site or recapture an authentic sense of place. Deadline February 1, 2009. Contact Chris Morris.
Cynthia Woods Mitchell Fund for Historic Interiors
Provides nonprofit organizations and public agencies matching grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 to assist in the preservation, restoration, and interpretation of historic interiors. Deadline February 1, 2009. Contact Chris Morris.
Hart Family Fund for Small Towns
