Open house for Anoka County school
Mary T. Inc. and staff announce the completion of renovations to an 1884 schoolhouse they had saved from demolition and relocated to their campus in November 2006. An open house will be held on Wednesday October 22, 2008, 4-7 p.m. The schoolhouse is located at 11703 Xeon Blvd.

Schroeder Area Historical Society completed an exhibit, "Mapping Schroeder and Building Community," about Anishinabe and Europeans living in the Schroeder area. The band Portage will play at the grand opening on October 4, 2008, 3 p.m.
