From the Blog

Plus, how to write Minnesota Historical and Cultural Grants proposals for your collections projects. Presented by Melinda Hutchinson at the Area Museums Meeting, Granite Falls.

Balancing Space and Placelessness (1 new comment) - One reader points out that digital information is great for research, but people still need the context of physical environment to make the experience whole.

Facebook Findings

Kudos to our Facebook fans for encouraging more Minnesota Local History followers--we're up to 515! That number 'calls' to mind the Des Moines IA area code. Seems as though we should bring things a bit north. Could we really hope to add 97 more fans to move our number to Minneapolis (612)?
