Emerge Career & Technology Center

In Minnesota news this week, women veterans add their stories to the collective mix.

Great River Bluffs Wayside, Winona County

Field Note

Great River Bluffs Wayside Rest along Highway 61 does several things for the traveling public, in addition to being a great space to stretch legs. There is a mixture of an older style of metal marker on a stone pedestal, and graphic upright panels to accommodate a different type of visual. For the older marker, the reader can see what the marker describes in the distance. Depending on the situation, a variety of strategies can be used to tell stories, and in this case a mixture of strategies works well.
