Please join the Minnesota State Historic Preservation Office in welcoming Barbara Mitchell Howard as the new head of the Historic Preservation, Field Services and Grants Department. Barbara replaces Britta Bloomberg, who retired at the end of 2011. She comes here from Iowa, where she served as deputy SHPO for the State Historic Preservation Office of Iowa. She has extensive knowledge of state and federal historic preservation laws and regulations as well as experience with grants administration. Welcome Barbara! |
