Volunteer Appreciation National Volunteer Appreciation Week is April 15-21, 2012. Anoka County Historical Society, Anoka MN, plans to celebrate with a program and refreshments on April 21, 2012, 1-3 p.m. They have over 120 volunteers who have contributed 5,165 hours of service to the historical society. The photo above shows some of the volunteers carving mannequins for the new exhibit opening May 1.
