| Minnesota Historical and Cultural Heritage Grants | | Reminder: Small Grants Deadline The next small (Fast Track) grants deadline is this Friday June 15, 2012. If you're not ready to submit your proposal for this round, check our deadlines page for upcoming rounds. Contact the Grants Office with questions. Mid/Large Grants Round The Grants Office received 91 applications for the FY2013 mid/large grants round, requesting over $8.6 million. The Historic Resources Advisory Committee (HRAC) has approximately $3.5 million available to grant. Looking ahead, final applications are due July 27 and the HRAC meets September 6-7, 2012. Spotlighted Project: Furnace Repair and Pest Control in the Miners Dry and Shaft House Recipient: Ely Greenstone Public Art Committee Funding Amount: $6,000 Project Overview
The Pioneer Mine Site, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, was improved with the repair of the existing furnaces in the Miners Dry and Shaft Houses.
