Neighborhood Nominations Sought
"This Old House" magazine and PreservationDirectory.com seek nominations for the 6th Annual "Best Old House Neighborhoods" feature. TOH is looking for 64 nominations (one in each state, one in Puerto Rico, and one in each of Canada's 10 provinces and three territories) to add to its list of Best Old House Neighborhoods. Deadline: Friday October 19, 2012.

NCPH Awards
National Council on Public History awards recognize excellence in the diverse ways public historians apply their skills to the world around us. Several categories of awards available; nominate a colleague or yourself. Submissions for book prize due November 1, 2012; nominations for other awards due December 1, 2012.
