Wells Fargo Foundation The Wells Fargo Foundation of Minnesota is moving to an online grant application for Minnesota grantseekers, starting with the Metropolitan Contributions Committee (MCC) which supports the seven-county Twin Cities metro area. Online application for MCC will be available November 1, 2012 in anticipation of a December 1, 2012 deadline. The Foundation will also provide trainings to assist nonprofits through the application process on November 8, 2012, 10 a.m.; and November 26, 2012, 2 p.m. Note their new mailing address: Wells Fargo Foundation MN, N9312-043, 109 S. 7th St., 4th Floor, Minneapolis MN 55402. AASLH Grant Deadline American Association for State and Local History offers its smaller institutional members the opportunity to apply for the Alderson Grant Internship Program. U.S.-Dakota War on NPR Minnesota native John Biewen is involved in a piece on the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862 for National Public Radio's "This American Life." Oral History Toolkit Now available: , a five-volume boxed set that is the definitive guide to successfully conducting community projects conforming to best practices in the oral history field. New Library Hours Minnesota Historical Society's Gale Family Library hours will be changing to better serve the needs of patrons. The new hours, effective December 1, 2012, are:
