Will there be another Minnesota Historical & Cultural Heritage Grants small grants round in the 2013 fiscal year? It depends upon the outcome of the January grants round. If funds are left, there will be another small grants round in the spring. Check the legacy grants website for updates.

Project Details
Wabasha Public Library prepared a general Conservation Assessment of and Long Range Plan for the preservation of the library's local history collections. The Plan will be used to set preservation policies, to identify storage and environmental needs, to make recommendations for disaster preparedness and to develop policy and procedures for the collections.

Historic Sites Survey Request
Minnesota Historical Society manages 31 historic sites and museums in Minnesota. In assessing how they manage and care for these sites, they'd like to know what managers at other historic sites do. Do you track information about any aspect of the operations and maintenance of your facilities? Your response to the survey will create a picture of current practice and perhaps inform current needs. Please complete the survey by 5 p.m. CT on February 8, 2013. Survey results will be posted in the next Historic House Affinity Group newsletter.
