Advancing Civilization without
Advanced Technology (6 new comments) The leap to digital access may be expensive
and expected, but tried and true analog technologies may have to continue to serve
local historical organizations with modest means. In what ways might digital and analog work together?
(new post) Use this post to send your thoughts to the Minnesota Historical Society
about how you would like the new grants program to be. |

Field Note |
|
| The Winona
County Historical Society's addition, for which groundbreaking will be Monday
July 20, 2009, at 10 a.m., represents the very best of local history in Minnesota.
The fundraising campaign has been the most extensive and rewarding of any for
a county historical society to date. The goals of the project have reached far
beyond the simple necessity of space. And, the design is meant to complement Winona's
rich architectural history. Congratulations to the board, staff, members, and
the public of Winona County Historical Society on developing such a comprehensive project. |
