Veterans Remembrance Day Join The Landing in Shakopee in honoring military veterans on Saturday
November 7, 2009. Ceremony at 1 p.m. Take in speeches, music,
and tours. Refreshments available in the Town Hall. Enter park through West Entrance.
Admission: $7, ages 12 and up; $5, ages 2-11 and seniors; free for veterans and children under 2.

Richard Moe, president of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, on Wednesday

Minnesota's Greatest Generation Program Randal Dietrich
will present a program on Minnesota's experiences during World War II on Saturday
November 14, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the Foot Room of the Red Wing
Public Library. Friends of the Library and Goodhue County Historical Society co-sponsor this
free event. Program will include screening of several short films about members

Girl Tea Join Anoka County Historical Society at an American Girl tea, featuring
1970s Julie, on Thursday November 19, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. or on
Saturday November 21, 2009 at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. All teas will
be held at the History Center. Enjoy refreshments and crafts while learning 1970s

U.S.-Dakota Conflict Book Talk Curtis Dahlin will be
